Cloth nappies: Joules X Tots Bots in ‘Annabella Floral’

Aside from the obvious benefits of using cloth nappies, we all know that the process of building up a decent-sized reuseable nappy collection comprised of gorgeous baby-friendly prints can be somewhat addictive can’t it? Just like clothes for our little’uns, some things just make you swoon and you end up being more excited about what your kiddo is rocking than the forgotten favourites in your own wardrobe.

This may seem weird to some of you (or not?) but if I’m having a bad day and I want to cheer myself up (or indulge in some serious retail therapy), I’ll gleefully browse through my best-loved baby clothes websites and start picking out my favourite things that I think would suit our sweet Lilybear down to the ground. Please, please tell me you do this as well, it’s a mama thing right?

What I’ve adored recently is the mix of these two little loves together – i.e. nappy prints + baby style – so I’m pleased to show off the latest collaboration from iconic British brand Joules and my much-loved Tots Bots

Joules X Tots Bots Cloth Nappy - Annabella Floral

There’s two designs available in the Joules X Tots Bots range – the ‘Annabella Floral’ which our beautiful baby girl is wriggling her bum in above and the ‘Farmer Joules’. Both of these glorious designs launched this morning and can be bought here for £17.99 each.

As you can see, the Annabella Floral is more or less exactly what you would expect from Joules with their signature flowers in a divine dusty pink colour. You can even pick up some corresponding garments (sweatshirt//woven dress//denim mix dress//babygrow) if you wish. Ooh matchy matchy!

Joules X Tots Bots Annabella Floral Side View

I’m not going to go in to too much detail about the features of the Easyfit Star nappies from Tots Bots because I reviewed them previously for Real Nappy Week a few months ago and I wouldn’t want to repeat myself.

I’ve just been having a quick read of my review back in April and I can’t believe how much our baby bear has changed! She didn’t even have her trademark curls back then!

Joules X Tots Bots Nappy Annabella Floral

So, in short, I am besotted with the bright, clean and fresh look of this beautiful new cloth nappy from Joules and Tots Bots and it’s my favourite thing to see #onthebum right now.

The first time it got dirty I jokingly asked Lily ‘how can you poo in something so pretty my dear?’ and I was graced with one of her huge, furrowed-brow frowns that she’s recently learnt to do and is quick to show off ALL of the time! It’s so funny because the corners of her mouth are still turned upwards and she is dying to laugh. It reminds me of Derek Zoolander’s famous ‘magnum’ pose but more frown-y.

What do you think of the new prints from Joules and Tots Bots?

I know Kate, it’s so bloody gorgeous isn’t it? Eliza looked so sweet in hers, such a cutie she is!
I just wish I’d bought some of the corresponding Joules clothes to go with it, will have to add to my wishlist

I absolutely love the print of the cloth nappy you picked, it’s so beautiful. I was apprehensive about trying cloth nappies and as we’re going to potty train soon it’s pointless for us to change over now, but with the second baby (one day) I know I’ll be much more ‘with it’ to try new things. x

Ah bless you, I know what you mean, Lily is 17 months now so I know the potty-training stage is fast approaching and I’m going to miss her fluffy bottom so much! 🙂

How pretty is that nappy! I loved my twins in their cloth nappies, but none of them were that pretty designs.

I think it’s become much more of a big ‘thing’ recently so brands are trying their hardest to bring out new and exciting prints X

I admire people who are able to use cloth nappies. It wouldn’t be for me. I wash so much already. I really wouldn’t know how to handle this.

It can be a bit of a pain when you have so much washing already, thank god for the warm, summer days to dry everything quickly! X
