This is a collaborative post.

Every day feels like a battle when it comes to my wardrobe choices. I had two pairs of jeans that were a little tight, and were my only pairs, so I’ve been living in black leggings (standard, right?) for months on end instead. I tried the jeans on last week after losing some weight since going vegan at the beginning of the year and within minutes they were around my ankles. I don’t do belts and they were saggy and horrid so I popped them in the charity box.

Going through my draws I kept spotting holes in my dresses and tops, just like the little buggers that keep popping up in my leggings, and I suddenly realised that I can’t go on like this anymore. It’s not that I want new clothes (but hey, who doesn’t?) I officially need them.

I’m even thinking of adding more colour to my wardrobe which will be a surprise to anybody who knows me well as I live in BLACK, all day every day, but I’m feeling those spring vibes loud and clear this year. So, with that in mind, here’s my current style picks…

Spring Fashion Picks 2018

Spring dress: £28.00 at Debenhams (Red Herring) // Mustard peplum top: £14.99 at Quiz Curve // High waisted skinny jeans: £25.99 at New Look // Colourful striped smock dress: £25.00 at ASOS Curve

I adore how wacky the ASOS dress is and it’s sitting in my basket now waiting to check out because it’s GORGEOUS. I know it’s not everybody’s cup of tea but I love that sort of thing! It’s one of those items that you look at that screams at you — “buy me!” — and I think I’m going to have to give in to its persuasion.

Have you spotted anything recently that’s right up your street style-wise?

What are your favourite pieces from the high street stores this Spring?
